It’s that time of year again.
It’s time for the coaching carousel in college football and with Michigan making major strides this season, is it outrageous to think that offensive coordinator Al Borges, 56, and defensive coordinator Greg Mattison, 62, could be hot commodities around the nation?
As far as Mattison is concerned, it’s unlikely, because of his reasons for coming to Michigan in the first place and his age isn’t attractive to try and rebuild or takeover a team of his own. It looks as if he will be retiring as the defensive coordinator for the Wolverines.
“This is Michigan for God sakes,” Borges said.
Borges reiterated Brady Hoke’s saying from his introduction speech before last season to show reporters and fans he has no intention of leaving Ann Arbor anytime soon.
